The world - a village?

I wanna turn this whole thing upside down... I really wanted to do this today at work. As probably everyone from my dept. was out of office, almost everyone tried to bother me with phone calls, questions and stuff for projects which aren´t mine and where I don´t have a clue. And then I had to finish work for another trainee because she couldn´t manage to finish it before she went to holiday. And some is still waiting...
Anyway, enough complaint. What really was strange today (or suprising) is the following: After having a beer with two friends from work (one is aiesec trainee as well) we went to the other aiesecer flat to cook some dinner. In front of their flat we met a guy waiting. Immediately, I thought that I know him from somewhere. My friend introduced me to him and told me that he´s a new flat mate for a while. After talking like for three minutes I remembered why I know him.
Last year my sister was doing a traineeship in Mannheim. When I went to visit her last July, I met some of the Aiesecers there. And one trainee from Austria, who was actually working in the same company like my sister, is now the new guy in town and he´s doing an internship for HP here in Stuttgart. How small the world is...
