Finally, after waiting a really long time, the World Cup 2006 here in Germany started. I went with some friends from work to the public viewing zone on Schlossplatz to watch the game Germany - Costa Rica. It was a cool experience as the whole square was really packed.
Nevertheless it was a bit strange, as I couldn´t understand how so many people can be soo quiet. They were celebrating for 10 sec. after each goal and then quiet again. Anyway I´m already excited about the first Swiss game next tuesday...
